Nice pipe organ in Moonta Mines Wesleyan Methodist Church built in 1865. Seating for 1250 worchippers. 14 Methodist churches inthe Moonta mines area in 19th century.

Moonta. Old copper mining town. This grand banking facade in the classical style was built in 1865 for the Bank of SA. Became the Union Bank as shown on parapet in 1892. Closed as a bank in 1943.

Hamley Bridge railway yards. The crane and silos. The broad gauge railway reached here in 1870. In 1880 the narrow gauge railway from Wallaroo reached here hence three platforms. No change of gauge after 1927.

Snowtown. This butcher and bakery business began in 1889. This corner shop was added to the original shop in 1910. The original shop in the Victorian style shop next door just visible.

Manoora. The Railway station built in 1898. The line opened in 1870. Note the two Washingtonia date palms still growing. They were issued to almost all South Australian railway stations in the 1890s.
