Silverton. Silver mining ghost town near Broken Hill. Sir Sidney Kidman cattle king and his brother began as butchers in Broken Hill and Silverton in the 1890s. Kidman butcher shop has been restored.

Arthurton on Yorke Peninsula. The faux pressed stone galvanised iron Lutheran Church. It opened in 1927 and closed in 1971. It is now a residence.

Macclesfield Catholic Church. Built in 1867. Renovated in 1973 and still in use. The land was purchased in 1856 and a wooden Catholic church opened on this site in 1858.

Silverton. The Silverton Tramway Co ticket office and railway station.Trains ran from Cockburn to Broken Hill from 1887 to 1969. Now disused.

Strathalbyn Railway Station built 1883 when the line from Victor Harbor to Strathalbyn was extended to Mt Barker Junction and Adelaide. At that time the 1867 horse tram line was converted to broad guage for steam engines.

Forbes. This beautifully restored two storey Victorian town house in Templar Street was built in 1884 by merchant William Thomas. He was the Mayor of Forbes who donated the fountain for Victoria Square.

Superb stone work on Danckers house and shop in the main street of Macclesfield in the Adelaide Hills South Australia. Buit around 1851 using purple Mt Lofty sandstone. The rear of the second floor was cantilevered.

Tarnagulla. The Colonial Bank of Australiasia. This tiny gold mining town has an impressive bank with a large chimney for metling down the gold nuggets.

Broken Hill. The Pirie Building erected in 1891 opposite the Town Hall. Fine stone work, triangular pediments over end windows which are rectangular. Central windows rounded. Very classical.

Dimboola. In the Wimmera on the Wimmera River. The old 1909 bank is now a fascinating shop called the Imaginarium. This stunning wall paper adorns the old bank hallway. .
