Beechworth. This was a gold rush town from 1852. This superb granite wall was built behind the early Bank of New South Wales. Protection from bushrangers was needed in the 1850s.

Macclesfield. The Anglican Church built in 1926 in local marble stone. It replaced an early 1857 church which was demolished around 1980. Most Macclesfield marble was used for grave headstones and the SA War Memorial.
