Penong. 70 kms west of Ceduna. The old school bell. This fine stone primary school opened in 1899 with around 18 students. A teachers residence was built at the same time. Today Penong school has around 45 students.

Minnipa. The Gawler Ranges from Tcharkuldu Hill and weathered granite rocks It is a huge inselberg. It provided a water catchment for the town's water supply from 1915.

Poonindie Anglican Church near Port Lincoln. This was built as the school room for the Anglican Aboriginal Mission. It was erected in 1854. The Mission closed in 1894 and this bulding became the local Anglican Church.
