Chewton. The ruins of the Garfield Gold Mine Waterwheel. A 72 foot diamter waterwheel turned on an axle on this stone structure to power the ore crusher.

Wasleys. The quartz monument to Charles Mullen who developed a special system for cultivating around Mallee roots. Needed in the 19th century to prepare scrub for wheat paddocks. Roots had to be finally removed.

Moonta School of Mines opened 1891 in former Baptist church which was built in 1866. In 1903 they built another half of the buiding to match the original 1866 church. Mines School needed as Moonta a big copper mining town.

Wangaratta Victoria. Statue and stained glass window in the pretty chapel built in 1929 for the sisters of the adjoining convent. Now used as a Catholic chapel for a nursing home.

Caltowie. An example of Edward Boths wooden iron lung for polio victims. Developed in 1938. Both came from Caltowie in the Mid North of South Australia.
