Unusual mortuary building for rural SA in Kadina cemetery Yorke Peninsula South Australia. Built as it says in 1876. Wallaroo copper mines were in Kadina and made the town wealthy.

The Coorong. at Salt Creek a rebuilt old old drilling rig. Parts of the Coorong were drilled for oil in the 1890s and 1920s. Coorongite was discovered which when processed yielded some crude oil but not in commercial quanties.

Geelong. Colonial church school and headmasters residence corner of Gheringhap and Myers Street. School opened 1854. Brick painted white. Built around 1870 as St Giles Free Presbyterian School.

Peterborough. St Anacletus Catholic Church. The first part opened in 1892. In 1916 it became the Pro-Cathedral and one of the largest buildings in town with transepts added etc. The Cathedral was moved to Port Pirie in 1952.

Forbes. ANZ Bank.This was built in Italianate style with a tower in 1892. The corbels below the roof line indicate it originally had a slate roof which needed these supports.

Cummins. The restored galvanised iron 1906 Institute. It was used as the state school 1912 to 1921. Used for church services. Rented by Anglicans in 1920s and later purchased. Now the Anglican Church hall.

Forbes. This beautifully restored two storey Victorian town house in Templar Street was built in 1884 by merchant William Thomas. He was the Mayor of Forbes who donated the fountain for Victoria Square.
