Maitland East. This sandstone church was designed by architects Cyril and Arthur Blacket, sons of the famous Edmund Blacket architect. The church was completed in 1885. Upper level stained glass windows. .

Dunkeld.Victoria. The Ararat to Dunkeld and Hamilton railway reached Dunkeld in 1877. The station was built not long after. It is identical to the railway station in Heywood. Now a community hall.

Baroota reservoir. Flinders Ranges. The concrete spillway and in the next valley is an earthen embankment. Completed in 1921 to provide water for Port Pirie and northern towns.

Speed. In the Victorian Wimmera. The old wooden public hall with unusual rusty steel buttresses on the sides to keep it together. .

Apsley. The Border Inn Hotel now run by the community. A nice Art Deco building. A hotel called the Border Inn opened here in 1854.

Gulgong. Chemist shop. Henry Beaufoy Merlin and Charles Bayliss photographed Gulgong gold rush in 1872. 500 glass plate negatives are now the Holtermann Collection Museum. UNESCO heritage listed.
