Colac. Hulms Bakery. Was the Colac Reformer newspaper offices built in 1875. Revamped in 1925 with an Art Deco shell and panel saying Colac Reformer est 1875.. Unusual.

Birregurra. This Gothic Anglican parish hall was probably the original Anglican Church. The stone church was built in 1877. The town was established in the 1850s.

Hervey Bay. The memorial to the Kanaka workers or South Sea Islanders who worked the sugar plantations. This is in the Point Vernon Cemetery.

Magnificent Port Augusta branch of Bank of SA building erected 1881. Taken over by Union Bank 1882 and closed as a bank forever in 1894. Good classical style and proportions.

Goolwa. The bow fronted General store with two 24 paned windows. Built around 1860.

Towitta. Abandoned farm and outbuildings. Thatched barns collapsing. Buildings in a three quarter quadrangle which was a very German style of laying out a farm. Unusual to have a stone wall on a pine and pug cottage.

Quorn. Pichi Richi Railway. Old Ghan carriages on the tourist train through Pichi Richi Pass in the Flinders Ranges.

Port Augusta. The Target store which was an old importers general store founded in 1867. Bignell and Young. Classical Greek style with pediment balustrade on roof line etc built in 1882.

Goolwa. The first horse tram railway in Australia opened here in 1853. That was at a different spot. This is the current railway station used only by Steamranger tourist trains to Victor Harbor and Mt Barker.

Nowra. Overlooking the Shoalhaven River from the cliff lookout in the Nowra ShowgrouHanging Rock Lookout is 46 metres above the Shoalhaven River.nds.

North Adelaide. Entrance to the chapel added to Bishops Court residence in 1912. Bishops Court was occupied from 1856. Note bishop's mitre and motto in stone above the door.

Geelong. Former YMCA building 78 Yarra Street. Art Deco style windows, classical open clam style entrance and Greek wreaths above pillasters. Built 1932. Architect Schefferle. Funds raised by returned soldiers for it.

Cape Jervis Fleurieu Peninsula. The ruins of Captain Price's 6 roomed manager's house at the Talisker silver mines. Mines operated from 1862 to 1872.

Strathalbyn. High Street. Harringtons old store known as London House. Now an antiques shop. built 1867 with stables at rear for Cobb and Co coaches.

Geelong. Decoration fo the oriel tower window of the Gordon Technical College. Building started in 1887 and opened in 1888. Became the Gordon Institue of Technolgy and now is Gordon College of TAFE. Right hand wing added 1916.

Muckleford. Near Maldon. Ruins of the old Orrville Hotel. John Orr bought land at Muckleford in 1854 because of the gold mines nearby. The Orrville Hotel opened around 1855.

Colac. The former Post Office built in 1876 with 1888 additions. Entrance with triple arches and central clock in triangualr pediment and perfect symmetry. Next to the Shire Hall built in 1892.

Goolwa. The current library and Alexandrina Council offices. The rear part was the Institute built in 1878. The front part was built in 1907 as a Council Office. It was added to later to create two identical facades.
