Silverton. Silver mining began in this outback ghost town in 1883. First school 1884.This stone school was erected in 1888. Now a museum. Dame Mary Gilmore taught here in 1887 to 1889.

New Residence on the River Murray. It was communistic Village Settlement 1896 to 1897. German settlers arrived in 1901 and built a Lutheran school and church in 1905. In 1925 they built again with Trinity Lutheran Church. .
