Adelaide. Russian writing on one of two cannons in Adelaide. They were spoils of war from the 1853- 1856 Crimean War against the Russians by the British French and Ottoman Empire. On its top is the Tsars Eagle symbol. .

Torrens Island. The state quarantine station was sited on this sand and mangrove island from 1878 to closure in 1979. This is the brick linen store room. Built in 1916.
