Geelong. Ryrie Street. The timeball on top of the old Telegrpah Station. The timeball was used for ships to set correct time. The sandstone building was built in1858 . Next to it is the 1890 Post Office.

Moonta Mines School opened in 1878. Idential to other schools in this copper mining district such as Wallaroo Mines, Moonta and Wallaroo Schools. It was designed for 800 students but opened with 1,000 students. Now a local museum.
