Callington an old copper mining town attracted Cornish settlers. In 1862 they built a Primitive Methodist Church. It closed in 1900 with Methodist Union and has been for decades a residence.

Historic Blinman in the Flinders Ranges. A copper mine began here in 1862 and this pug and pine miner's cottage dates from the 1960s. Now restored and available for holiday accommodation.

Kapunda. The Dutton copper mine chimney. Built in 1850 by Cornish miners. The Dutton mine began around 1842. The chimney was linked to the boiler house and the draft from the furnace fires was released up this chimney stack.

Kapunda copper mine. All that remains of the Bull or Buhl Enginehouse which sat over a shaft 360 feet deep.The enginehouse ran the pump that removed water from the deep shaft. It operated from 1851 to the closure of the mine in 1878.

Wallaroo. Yorke Peninsula. This Customs House in Georgian style was built in 1862 when Wallaroo was declared as an international port. It closed as a Customs House in 1920 and became a private reidence.

Cockburn on the SA NSW border. A fine old galvanised iron house with brick chimneys from the 1890s. All staff engines freight changed here from SA Railways to Silverton Tramway Company which went on to Broken Hill.
