Hallett. Old canowie sheep station. The Browne brothers founded it in 1846. These stone walls and station buildings were built in the 1860s or possibly the late the 1850s.

Burra. Copper miners dug rooms into the bank of Burra Creek in the late 1840s as homes for their families. Some still remain. This one with a stone entrance.

Macclesfield. The Congregational Church built in 1848 as the stone above the door says is one of the oldest still standing churches in South Australia. Closed in 1927. Now a restored residence. The Davenports attended church here..
