Coromandel Valley. Weymouth headstone and graves. John Weymouth who died in 1887 was a pioneer of the valley. The local oval is named after him. He had a quarry and was a builder and built many houses in Coromandel Valley.

Coromandel Valley cemetery. headstone for some of the children of Thomas Matthews one of the pioneers of Coromandel Valley. He lived in Hurds Hill house built in 1849. He donated the land for this public cemetery. JPG

Coromandel Valley. Alexander Murray built this huge stone jam and biscuit factory in 1857. It closed in 1903 and is now a difficult to see private residence.
