説明 | I spent a good few hours filing and sanding bottom bracket shells today. I did the one I'll use for brazing practice pretty quick and then got stuck in to the proper one. The chainstay sockets took a good bit of filing and they do seem quite a bit thinner now. I managed not to make the edges paper thin and I loosely assembled the downtube, seattube and chainstays to check I had enough wiggle room to get my 90mm drop. There are some gaps around the sockets which should fill up ok. They aren't terrible but they are bigger than I was expecting. I'll call it a brass fit :-) |
