Discal cell usually short and truncate at tip, rarely elongate and then the upper outer corner very little produced or the discal cell is open? -> 55 Thorax black or grey -> 77 Acrostichal bristles absent, or if present legs yellow, male hypopygiumsmall and female legs not pennate (pennate bristles are compressedbristles, appearing much thicker than normal bristles). Slender, longleggedspecies, male often with velvety black thorax, while that of femaleis greyish black or grey -> 88 Dorsocentral bristles long and strong; acrostichals entirely absent.
