22nd of 4th 365: A troubling graph / dumbledad

| 説明 | I enjoy taking part in flickr's 365 Days project (one takes a self-portrait every day and posts it to the group). This time (my fourth) I've noticed that if I wait a few hours between posting self-portraits from my backlog there are fewer new photos from other members turn up in the pool. So I made a graph. It shows the group from September 2006 through to July 2013 and shows how many photos in the pool were uploaded to flickr during each of the intervening months. One thing that jumps out is the 'new year's resolutions' spike on January each year, but a sad thing is the decline of the group from 43,595 photos uploaded in January 2009 through to 6,128 in January 2013.6,128 is still a big number and much healthier than any other flickr group I'm involved in, but that graph does look like a sad decline :-( |
