| 説明 | A last glimpse over at the Mount Whitney summit. Great views graced our rapid descent from Trail Crest to Trail Camp along the 99 Switchbacks. A trail of overnight and day-hikers ascending and descending the 99 Switchbacks helped us keep track of where we had been and where we were going, although the well-defined trail and our prior experience with the switchbacks only hours before also helped. As we descended, I found myself wondering how I had climbed it that morning. It seemed to take forever. I concluded it is far more tedious to tackle the 99 Switchbacks in full daylight. |
