| 説明 | The senior leadership of the Maryland National Guard visited with Soldiers during annual training Aug. 10-12 at Fort Drum, N.Y. Maj. Gen. James A. Adkins and Brig. Gen. Peter Hinz visited Soldiers with the 58th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade in the field to give praise, address concerns and give out the occasional coin to stand-out Soldiers. Annual training on Fort Drum ran a broad spectrum of tasks and training. Soldiers trained in the field, in the air and in rear support rolls including field operations like long range reconnaissance, patrols, airborne insertions and enemy engagements along with support operations like vehicle maintenance and repair, field vehicle recovery and food preparation and field distribution. Bosnian soldiers also participated in the training under the Maryland–Bosnia and Herzegovina National Guard State Partnership Program. |
