| 説明 | So here I am, in Hood River OR (AKA, paradise). Offloaded pictures from my camera for the first time since March, and this is all I've got between then and the end of July. This is my roommate and co-worker Jed, and my other newest co-worker, Baño, nickname Mr. Interesting. My spanish speaking friends tell me it means "Regal" in spanish. Whoever said we need to be multilingual anyways?This was our first time getting off work while the sun was up in who knows how long, and what better way to relax than a nice rooftop session with a couple White Rascals. We had just put together our half of a NASA payload to look at the coming commet ISON, which would then be shipped to Applied Physics Laboratory in Maryland, where we would then meet it to continue work and integration with the rest of the system. Now I'm in Hood River and about to complete one hell of a road trip! It was interrupted by two more weeks of 13-hour, 7 day a week stressfest, but its all behind me now! I will say it was pretty cool to have one of the best dinners Washington DC has to offer Saturday night at Vidalia (vidaliadc.com/), and then fly overnight back to the west coast and enjoy equally amaze-balls Thai food truck breakfast.
