| 説明 | My camera died in January.This is most displeasing.I’m going to have to figure out what I want to do about it. It’s not worth the cost of repair, but I’m not really in the financial position to get a decent replacement (unless I take on some contracting work which I'm hoping to avoid).Donations to the “Get Grant a New Camera Fund” are welcome. :-)Figuring out what kind of new camera to get will also be challenging. I'm really attached to the ‘swivelling’ lcd display. It makes some it possible to do some very awkward angle shots. It would be nice to be able to stick with Compact Flash since I already have that, but SD would be okay, too, since that's what's in my video camera. 3x optical zoom has proven to be quite inadequate for a lot of things I have wanted to do with the camera over the years, so I'd probably want at least 5x if not 10x.It would also be nice to have some control over things like depth of field. Also on the nice to have list would be a wide-angle lens (very useful for large protests and marches). All-weather ruggedness, and a quick startup (my dead Canon would take what felt like half a minute just to go from being turned on to being able to take a photo). |
