Was raining outside, so couldn't sit on picnic bench.The Navigation Inn is a charming country pub and restaurant, set in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside, 5 miles north of Stratford-upon-Avon and perfectly situated for a relaxing drink, or quick bite to eat any time of the year.The Navigation Inn is situated on the A3400 on the outskirts of the quiet Warwickshire village of Wootton Wawen. Dating back over 200 years the navigation was originally built to service the needs of the original navies whilst they were building the Stratford Canal, which runs through the pub grounds.The pub has undertaken many different uses during its long history, but for the last 20 years has been run as a family orientated country pub and restaurant, serving a wide selection of good home cooked meals whilst offering a wide range of traditional and modern ales, wines and soft drinks.As seen from the car heading into the car park. |
