| 説明 | As we come outside the Quinta Market, we pass this T junction of sorts. Here a fish ball vendor has just set up shop and has just started frying his fish balls, while a nother hard working individual appears from the other side pushing a trolley full of plastic ware. Again, I was walking around with my dSLR hanging open around my neck, and no one so much as even gave me a second glance. I kept thinking of my Filipina colleague who had given me a wild west story about Manila. Well, I'm sure she meant well, and there areas in the city like that, (aren't there everywhere?) but here, it appeared to be reasonably safe. The next time I'll carry a point and shoot though, just in case. (Manila, Philippines, May 2013) |
