| 説明 | St Thomas, the Apostle of India visited and settled down in what is now Madras around 70 AD. He is said to have carved a stone cross with his own fingernail. This cross was alleged to bleed, for close to 100 years. The mountain and cave he called home was discovered by the Portuguese who built the Church of "Our Lady of Expectations" here and formed the fort city of San Thome in Madras |
