| 説明 | ANSEP Summer Bridge student program graduation at the UAA campus- The bridge students are ones that just graduated High School and will be entering College this Fall. The entire graduation class included about 30 students that worked for a variety of organizations this summer, such as BP, Shell, USFWS, USGS, AK F&G and USFS.This year we had three students from the program that completed their summer internship with the Forest Service.After the graduation today, we gathered up the three student and took their picture (attached); from left to right, these students are:-Kiefer Davis, worked on the Sitka RD on projects that included trails, fish weirs and removing road culverts for restoration purposes. He is from Anchorage.-Melanie Roland, worked in the Chugach SO with Engineering and helped with the Placer River Bridge project, developed GIS maps and helped with fleet management. She is Yupik from Bethel.-James Mendenhall, worked on the Sitka RD on projects that included trails, fish weirs and removing road culverts for restoration purposes. He is Yupik from Bethel. |
