| 説明 | A home located at 7896 Main Street in Middletown, Virginia. Built in two sections, one in 1779 and the second in the early 1800s, the house is designated as a contributing property to the Middletown Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 2003.From the Middletown Historic District's NRHP nomination form:"7896 Main St. Cirrani House (common name) ca 1820-1850; tax records give date as 1779. Vernacular Greek Revival style, two-story, wood frame and log with weatherboard siding and standing-seam metal, gable roof. Rear ell appears to be log, probably built earlier as a three bay, 1 1/2 story log house. Greek Revival porch with paired square, Doric columns and details in cornice. Frame washhouse is a contributing resource." |
