| 説明 | I love this store. (And hey -- there's my mom, walking in). Paper Omelette is a little gallery of all things paper and ink and bindings and journals and albums and note cards and paintings. And malt balls. Seriously delicious malt balls. When was the last time you had malt balls? It's been too long, believe me. I don't remember them being quite so delicious.---A weird thing happened when I walked into the shop. I walked in and out of nowhere an old friend named Heidi popped into my mind. And I thought I bet the owner knows Heidi. I have no idea why I thought this... but it was just kind of in my head.So I meandered around the store, trying to not get my drool all over the wares. And at one point the owner started to talk to me. She recognized me from the last time I came in and drooled all over everything. And for some unknown reason I said, "do you know Heidi?" And she looked at me odd for just a split second and said yes. She had just met Heidi for the first time THAT DAY. Just hours before. Heidi had been in to give her some art work to hang. I hadn't seen Heidi and I hadn't seen Heidi's artwork on the wall, but I guess Heidi' essense was still in the store when I walked in.I mean... that is just weird. I have no other explanation. |
