| 説明 | The inscription has become very faded but it reads:1837-1897Erected by public subscriptionin commemoration of the sixty years reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria. Victoria was was much loved in "Royal" Deeside, she purchased the nearby estate at Balmoral, and regularly attended the Braemar Highland Gathering, a tradition carried on by today's Royals. The fountain is a good example in the local style, made from pink granite. |
