| 説明 | A metal placque on the wall of Brouwerij Timmermans in Itterbeek, Belgium, commemorating Franz-Gerard Timmermans (1887-1961) who took over the brewery in 1911. Under his leadership the brewery expanded into a regional player and he remained in control until his death in 1961, while also finding the time to act as mayor of Itterbeek from 1929-1955!Upon the death of Franz-Gerard in 1961, the brewery changed its name from Brasserie de la Taupe to Brouwerij Timmermans in his honor.[Read more] |
