| 説明 | Desert Dandelion in the Pinto Valley, Joshua Tree National Park, California. (Calflora) (eNature)I remember looking across the valley here and seeing a sea of yellow going all the way to the mountains a few miles away. However I now see that the photographic evidence doesn't seem to support that idea although I suppose the color fades in the photo after a certain distance. If you look at the original size you can just barely make out a bright yellow alluvial fan on the other side of the valley. I'm not sure if it had more dandelions than the plain below it, or if they were just more visible because of the angle.(Geotagged) |
