| 説明 | The gall of Andricus quercusramuli (sx) develops on the male catkins of Quercus robur (and probably on other oak species). It can grow quite large as shown in this image. The gall appears in May/June and the male and female wasps emerge in June - often in large numbers. I only know of this gall from one location in Kent but it appears every year. It seems to be a scarce species in Kent and the UK. |
