| 説明 | Detachment 1, Co. A, 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment, conducted unmanned aerial vehicle flight operations at Webster Navy Outlying Field April 2-7, 2013. The unit recently returned from Afghanistan where they provided 24-hour UAV coverage for Army and Marine troops. Sgt. Jason Phillips and Sgt. Bryan Robinson were instrumental in planning and organizing 10 flights over the course of five days. Virginia Army National Guard Soldiers were also on hand to exercise flight operations and learn how to operate their Shadow UAVs in the MDARNG training area. These were the first UAV flights since the unit's deployment. |
