| 説明 | The debris pile grows at a temporary storage site for Hurricane Sandy debris in Davis Park, N.Y., on Fire Island March 9, 2013. Debris from throughout Davis Park is hauled in small vehicles – in some cases, hand-pulled wagons – along the neighborhood’s narrow boardwalks and consolidated at a temporary storage site on the island’s bay shore. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is overseeing the removal of storm debris on Fire Island as part of the federal government’s Hurricane Sandy response and recovery efforts.
