| 説明 | There were 4 or 5 events going on at the same time, and it helped to have someone calling the action as it happened, so the WCG had announcers on different FM frequencies describing the action.I thought this was a pretty clever solution, and they even sold this cute little FM radio for $5 (or you could borrow one for free if you gave them your ID for collateral) in case you didn't have your own.I bought this one mostly as a souvenir; it worked okay, although the headphone jack was a little flaky, and since it was a scan tuner, it was hard to tell what channel you had -- San Francisco has a lot of radio stations, of course, along with the WCG channels.Good thing we had our Nokia 3200 phones with their FM radios (and its special headset, which it requires as an FM antenna). |
