| 説明 | To keep things easy, you can install your switch further back on the console somewhere. So you might not need to go this far with it. This step is optional. Remove the trim screws on the front sides of the trim piece that houses the shifters. There's a wire and connector that goes up onto the console to provide that power outlet that's inside the console. It will be very tough to reach up in there and remove that connector without pulling too hard on the wire. You'll have to figure out the right way to squeeze the tabs on the connector and pull it out, without being able to see it.Notice that I don't tell you how to remove the shift knobs. That's because as far as anyone can tell, the only way to do it is to destroy them. I followed some instructions on YouTube, but those instructions basically say you're probably going to destroy your knob when you do it. I destroyed mine but I figured that was a good excuse to buy some cooler ones. |
