| 説明 | Impressions of imaginary architecture.From an old diary of mine. It consists completely of drawings (ink on paper). All those sketches have been made spontaneously without much thinking. As it turned out they tended to arrange themselves in cycles. There is a series of Hommages à Gustav Mahler; one set is called "anode / cathode", another one is named "gestures", and there are "alluvial", "cathedral", "sound", current", "formation", "traces", and then we have quite a number of "stations". What I like about the title is that it can very different meanings. Some people might think of a radio station; others imagine a train or bus stop; it is also possible to think of a research station (let's say in Antarctica). In German "Station" even can refer to a hospital ward... |
