| 説明 | This image depicts STRATHNAVER on her maiden voyage, coming into Circular Quay to berth at No 4 with tugs ST ARISTELL (forward) and CHAMPION (aft) from Pyrmont Wharf on Thursday 26 November 1931. Image captured from No 7b Wharf at 12.15pm.Frederick Wilkinson (1901 - 1975) migrated to Australia from England in 1911. While working various jobs in and around central Sydney, Wilkinson acquired a camera and began taking photographs of vessels and harbour scenes. Many of his images were used by commercial photographers for souvenir postcards.The ANMM undertakes research and accepts public comments that enhance the information we hold about images in our collection.
