| 説明 | So this week was very busy since I missed Thursday and Friday. While I was not at school I was up in Sedona and was hoping to get some really good landscape shots but it was cloudy the whole time. These weren't the good billowing clouds but just the clouds that make the sky grey all the time. I planned ahead though and took some photos Tuesday after school. For this photo I went up to the top of a mountain right next to Shawbutte. I didn’t need to hike up this mountain though, there was a road to a restaruant on the top. I had to do a small little hike to get to this cactus in the foreground. This was at the prime of the golden hour as it made everything in the background look pink and red. This looks oddly exposed because Shawbutte is blocking the sun in the foreground but not in the background. This makes the foreground dark and the background very bright even though the sun is coming from the right in the photo. This location wasn’t far from my house, but still a great location. I only bumped the curves and colors in this photo. I took many different exposures and this seemed most even in its exposure of the foreground and background and so it did not need much else editing. This photo ties into my concentration through its confrontation of nature and the city. The cactus and the fact that it is nature starkly contrasts the civilization of the city behind it. |
