| 説明 | In the road parallel to the one we were on right now, we are on the right track to the Old Town Square. One of the important bistoric structures on this street is the Palais de Justice building, or New Court house. Construction of the "New Courthouse" started in 1922. This is an example of a return to a classical style, with its long colonnade. Criminal cases were transferred to the new facilities, while civil justice continued to be meted out in the Old Courthouse. (Montreal, Canada, Dec. 2012) |
