| 説明 | Saw a balloon snap taken by the redoubtable Zenas M which inspired me to post this snap from a hot air balloon trip 18/12 ago. Mainly as the evening light on Bath stone is sumptuous.There are many famous buildings on this snap, each with a fascinating story. The snap is worth a look at on a big screen, despite being only 6MP there is a lot of detail.Bath Abbey is centre. But the attraction that Bath has is the clustering of such lovely architecture in a small city. Fortunately the carbuncular University (top centre) is not normally visible to the average visitor.I was surprised at how quiet it is in a hot air balloon - as you are floating with the wind, there is no wind or wind noise. Also how quick 10-12 mph is; it was all over too soon. |
