| 説明 | ‘Command Team’ provides monthly open forum Click here to learn more about Camp Humphreys U.S. Army photos by Victoria ChoiBy Victoria ChoiUSAG Humphreys Public AffairsCAMP HUMPHREYS – The monthly “Meet the Command Team” program allows Soldiers, civilians and family members assigned here to talk directly with the U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys command team, Col. Darin S. Conkright, Humphreys Garrison commander and Command Sgt. Maj. Kristine A. Purnell, presenting their concerns, issues and recommendations. The program is held around the first day of each month in the Exchange Lobby. The command team is available there from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. For those 90 minutes, they are there to help community members resolve their problems and greet those who just come to say “hello".The primary purpose of the event is to encourage members of Humphreys community to open up about the issues on the installation.“We do this in case anybody at Camp Humphreys has some issues with the quality of life or they are just having an issue or concern they want to bring to the command team,” Purnell said, “and it can be brought to our attention and we could resolve it as quickly as possible.”PFC Joshua Barrientos, assigned to E Company 3-2 General Support Aviation Battalion, met the command team on Jan. 2.“It (the meeting) is very helpful and informative,” he said. “They definitely tried to get me some information on the matter I was interested in. Being informed is very helpful while staying overseas. I think they are doing a great job being out there for us.”According to Conkright, the program gives to the command group a better understanding of all the issues going on in Camp Humphreys.“Here we can have a better view on the life of our Soldiers and their challenges,” he said.The next Meet the Command Team will be Feb. 1. |
