| 説明 | This view is from, or near, the road to the National Slate Museum (Amgueddfa Genedlaethol Lechi) at Llanberis, looking SE-wards. The main mountain group in the distance is the Glydir range. The nearer mountain slopes are the flanks of Elydir Fawr. Some of the disused workings of the Dinorwic slate quarries can be seen in the nearest slopes above the trees. The top of the tower that can be seen just above the trees, far R, belongs to Dolbadarn Castle. The 'gap' between the Glydir Range and the castle R is the start of the Llanberis Pass. The Snowdon range lies just out of sight to the R of the castle. |
