| 説明 | The United States hosted a side event entitled “Facilitating National Implementation through Assistance and Cooperation: U.S., U.K., and Canadian Programs” December 14, 2012 during the Meeting of States Parties of the Biological and Toxins Weapons Convention at the United Nations in Geneva. Ambassador Laura Kennedy, U.S. Representatives to the Conference on Disarmament and U.S. Special Representative for Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention Issues, opened the event and moderated the panel. Following her opening remarks Ambassador Jo Adamson spoke on U.K. assistance programs, Ms. Kelly Anderson reviewed Canadian assistance programs, and Tom Countryman, Assistant Secretary of State for International Security and Nonproliferation, and Any Weber, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Defense Programs, described U.S. assistance programs.
