Travis," it was owned by Commercial Transport Corp., Houston.In 1969, it was sold to Igert, Paducah, Ky., and renamed "Laura-Kathryn."In 1981, it was sold to River Services, Owensboro, Ky., and operated by Dyer Transportation Services, Paducah.In 1983, it was sold to Oil Transport Co., New Orleans, and renamed "Bayou Casotte."In 1992, it was sold to Northstar Navigation, Paducah, and renamed "Megan Beesecker."By mid 2004, the boat was out of service, but in 2007 it was sold to Tennessee Valley Towing (TVT), Paducah, Ky., and in 2009 renamed "Emma Kate".I think the "Emma Kate" was later sold to Merco Par S.A.C.I., a bulk liquid transporter on the Paraguay-Parana Waterway, but I don't know her current status.By 2014, TVT had acquired a different boat named "Emma Tate" which is still operating as of May 2025..6x9 cm color negative.scanned with Epson V500 flatbed scanner and Epson Scan software.edited with Picture Window 4 |
