| 説明 | Remember how my Unisphere picture won third place at the Middlesex County Fair?Well, funny story about that....My friends live near the site of the fair, and we asked them to drop off the picture for us. We also didn't get to the fair itself or the awards ceremony because of conflicts and our vacation. But when we returned from vacation, our friends let us know that I won third place.Yesterday we got together with our friends, and they gave me the picture. When I saw the ribbon, I asked how it hung at the competition, and they told me that they thought it hung this way. Which amuses me - I never considered that anyone would hang this wide picture from that orientation.Maybe that's why it only won third place instead of first ;)I find this an amusing lesson learned. And when I drop off my larger submission to the Monmouth Museum's Juried Photography Exhibition, I'll make extra sure that they know how to properly hang the photo :) |
