It has a commanding view over Shelburne Harbour, facing west, surrounded by cleared land, apple orchards and stone walls from the earliest settlement of the island. The property has energy generating equipment, a Photovoltaic solar tracker, Guardian Generator and a Skystream Wind Turbine. Registered Provincial Heritage Property, built 1857. Renovated during 2007-2008. New wharf, septic and dug well in 2007-2008. Small fish house at the shore restored. Apple tree orchard of 40+ old varieties. Accessible by boat only. |
