| 説明 | This was my favourite composition from a trip to Luna a week or so ago. I had this composition all set up when the sun suddenly broke through the clouds, illuminating a small slice of the mountains and the trees on the rocky outcrop to the right. I was shooting with square filters without a hood and facing directly into the sun, so I knew flare would be a problem and you can see that there's quite a lot, but I actually quite like the result. Although there's some loss of clarity, contrast and saturation in the top right quadrant, the effect looks like god rays shooting down from where the sun is breaking through and the beams just touch on the trees and water, seemingly illuminating them.I have a Polariod variable ND filter, but the size is wrong for my new 17-40 lens, so I used an old Cokin solid ND square filter and a Cokin soft grad and the magenta cast was horrific (but easy enough to remove in PP). I've got some Kood filters somewhere and I've read they are much better so will try those next time.Canon 5d MkII + 17-40L @ 24mmCokin P Series ND8 + Soft Gradf/22, 5 seconds |
