| 説明 | Pediomelum argophyllum inhabits undisturbed sagebrush steppe, including the Wyoming big sagebrush steppe at lower elevations in Montana. Remarkably, this species (and most species in the genus) tolerate some disturbance and can be found in abundance along roadsides adjacent to sagebrush steppe in good ecological condition. This is the case at this site along Reynolds Road, north of Fourchette Bay, in the CMR Wildlife Refuge. This roadside population was needlessly subjected to herbicide. |
