| 説明 | Saw it and had to process it. Edit: Mistook this for an elliptical galaxy. It's a barred lenticular. DerpFull disclosure: I used cloned data to fill in the chip gap because I couldn't accept the black stripe slicing across the galaxy. I took data immediately to the left of the gap and used it to cover up the gap. I then took data immediately to the right of the gap and moved it on top of the data from the left side and adjust the opacity to approximately 50% (whatever percent blends most invisibly). It is a very quick method and I personally cannot see where the gap used to be. I'm not sure it would work quite as well for a galaxy which contains more detail than smooth gradients.HST_9401_23_ACS_WFC_F850LP_sciHST_9401_23_ACS_WFC_F475W_sci |
