説明 | Suckley's endolepis is distinctive because of the profusion of small green glabrous succulent leaves that contrast to the usually reddish stems. The bilateral pair of bracts surrounding the fruit are not often seen in this sometimes dioecious species because they are associated with the pistillate (female) flowers and staminate (male) flowers seem to be the most common. This site occurs in the Wyoming big sagebrush steppe between Telegraph and Box Elder Creeks, north of Fourchette Bay. |
